Sales Associate | Forth and Home
Forth and Home is looking for a warm, energetic Sales Associate who loves beautiful spaces, connecting with people and being part of a thoughtful, hardworking team.
Our shop is more than retail. We help customers create homes that feel meaningful, welcoming and personal. The right person for this role enjoys styling, storytelling through products, and making every customer feel cared for in a genuine way.

Part-time role, typically 15–25 hours per week
Starting pay: $16–$18/hour depending on experience
This position requires weekend availability and a generally flexible schedule, especially during busy seasons and store events. Weekends are part of the rhythm of retail. Fair warning: you’ll probably learn a lot and have a blast doing it.

Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist customers with warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality
• Offer personalized styling and product recommendations based on customer needs
• Create a beautiful, well-maintained sales floor through thoughtful merchandising and restocking
• Process purchases accurately using our POS system
• Assist with receiving inventory, unpacking shipments, and stocking the floor
• Lift and move product (up to 50 lbs), including furniture and larger decor pieces
• Stay knowledgeable about products, vendors, and home decor trends
• Assist during in-store events and seasonal launches
• Work collaboratively with the team to support store goals and provide an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• A natural love of connecting with people and creating a welcoming experience
• Positive energy and a team-first mindset
• Interest in home decor, design, styling, or creative retail environments
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Weekend availability is required
